General Info: Karakael is an Inquestor from a series of books by the same name. Important qualities of note would be his rather horrific backstory (resulting in his obsession with never revealing his face) and his tendency of manipulating people by use of illusions and mind games.

There is something marvelous about a Carnival. The masks, the madness...but also the moments of extreme, unexpected beauty. It was for this that Karakael invited any and all to his worlds during the season of Carnival.

This time he has opened the tunnel-door tacheon corridors to a small water planet, which celebrates the beginning of its bi-yearly fishing season with a masked carnival not unlike the Earthling holiday of Mardi Gras. The walkways of the floating city are filled with floating lights and revelry and in the distance the cries of sea-drakes can be faintly heard calling for the evening.

Karakael sits at a sidewalk cafe, waiting for his guests to arrive, a pungent chai-like drink balancing precariously on the lightly rocking table.
